REGARDING THE ADULT CONFERENCE: Please note that Jason Reynolds, Kate DiCamillo, and Jacqueline Woodson are only presenting at the adult conference on Saturday, September 21st. Due to the demands and pressures of their writing deadlines, high inquiries for visits, and other factors, they will not be speaking to children. The only opportunity you will have to hear Kate DiCamillo speak is at the luncheon. Kate will not be presenting any additional sectionals. The luncheon has a very strict capacity, and because of fire code regulations, once the luncheon capacity is reached, you will not have additional opportunities to hear Kate speak. Please take careful note of this when planning to submit your registrations for the conference.
Please also note that Jacqueline Woodson will also only be speaking once, at the 3:00 PM closing keynote of the conference. This will be the only sectional offered at this time. Jacqueline is taking time from her travels as National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature to join us, so this is a very special opportunity. There is no additional registration fee to attend the closing keynote.
All authors will sign books at the adult conference during pre-determined signing times based on their arrival and departure times to campus.
